I don't like this bottle at all. It is not very thick plastic and the dispenser is weird. The covering ripped off right away so I can't cover the hole and use it as a shaker bottle. Guess I should have know because of the price. This is the first time I have had anything bad happen with all the items I have ordered from GNC, which is alot.

It leaks not to mention whoever designed a shaker cup for powdered shakes without a sift screen is an idiot.

It gets the job done but it takes about 4 or 5 tries to thread the top back onto the bottle and the cap is no easier to secure. If I had to do it again, I'd spend an extra $3 for a halfway decent shaker!

The 2 covers kept popping open while shaking and I had a real mess to clean. The shaker ball mixer I have works much better.

The person that designed this totally missed the point. Instead of something that actually aggravates the powder so it mixes, they put a worthless plastic ring around the top that really does nothing more than keep the bottle from collapsing on itself if it wanted. Powder goes to the bottom and then doesn't mix. Can't use on the go unless you carry utensils. Pay the extra $ for the one with the ball in it.

After mixing and putting it in my bag , it leaks out. I'm back online to look for a different bottle.

I use this product when I want to make a quick shake and do not want to use the blender

it has a great seal on it before I was writing this review I made a shake and I shook it upside down and the lid and all the other pieces stayed on and not one drop of the shake fell out

I do not like how the GNC Live Well is chipping off but that is the only that I can find wrong with it!

The cup leaks from the vent hole even if the vent cap is on. It is cheap, so dont even bother shaking anything inside it. It will leak all over if you want to put it in your bag or something. Spend the extra few dollars.

Good size shaker bottle. But it needs to have the wire ball instead of the plastic to mix up protein drink. Wire ball is not as messy and mixes up easily.

GNC's take on the Shaker Bottle is sub-par; they have the concept down, and the filter mixes powders just fine, but the lid does not screw on correctly most of the time, which leads to leakage. If I'm like everyone else, leakage is not preferred. This means a loss of your shake, which equals NO GAINS. If GNC fixed the lid on this, there would be nothing wrong with it.

I would rather receive $.50 off my quest bar order than another free one of these.

I like that its shorter than the old one and I like that it doesn't seem to leak when you shake the bottle.

I Mix the Lean Shake 25 in it and all the powder gets stuck on the top plastic shaker part. I use it for my meals that I mix in my Vita Mix and it gets all the thick part of the juice stuck in the top and in the mouth piece. When you take the mouth piece cover off it pops all over the place.

Really handy shaker. Protein drinks mix and keep well. This mixer does not spill unless you drop it, then the bottom falls out, and the drink explodes all over the kitchen. My fault, not theirs, but could be more flexible material.

It was free so what can you expect but it's definitely not the best shaker. Works for a back-up though!

No matter how much I tighten the top, it always leaks. It did this right out of the box. Since holding liquid is the sole purpose of this bottle (don't even try to shake it!!) it's basically a useless plastic cup

It's not as solid as it could be, and I wouldn't trust it not to leak if tipped over with the lid sealed and shut, but it's good for shakes on the go.

This is a horrible shaker. The one with the whisk ball is much better. This doesn't get all the clumps out! I'm glad it was "free" else i'd insist on a refund!

This shaker cup is already in the recycling! I used it once. The lid was very hard to get screwed on and despite several attempts, I'm not sure I got it right. When I shook my drink, it leaked. Not worth the effort. So glad I didn't spend $$ on it since it was free with my order.

The first morning I used this, I placed water in the container for my morning commute. I took my first sip half way to work. It wasn't pretty.

I will not be using this again.

I like this product, but not as much as the traditional shaker bottle. It definitely gets the job done, but i have experienced the lid leaking on this one. I don't know if it's only the one I got (but hey, it was free, so who can complain?), but the leaking is kinda annoying since i look like a toddler trying my hand at a real cup for the first time.

I ordered a bunch of energy bars because they were on sale and this came free. GNC canceled my order except for the free shaker bottle. They should have just canceled that too. It leaks everywhere. What's the point of having a shaker bottle when you can't shake it without spilling? This is not the first time GNC has canceled my order for no reason...

I was looking for an alternative to my 'wire ball' shaker, because I found the flip top works well to prevent spills while shaking, but did not stay in place on its own.

This design worked surprisingly well at mixing, and was easy to clean. The flip top seals well and stays in place. The only complaints are minor: the vent valve flip top tends to be pushed close by the drink spout flip top when I drink, and my protein powder mix gets compacted in the drink spout when shaking, necessitating a gentle push from the outside to force the powder into the container.

All in all, I'm very happy with this shaker bottle.

Every time I used this shaker bottle it would leak and the protein drink would end up dripping all over my floor. I tried to screw it on REALLY tight, but I would still have problems. I ended up throwing it in the recycling bin.

If you take out the insert, it leaks less but still not fool proof. The insert is supposed to help it mix, but it doesn't really help and just makes it leak like crazy.

We use these shaker bottles to take to the gym with us, filled with a scoop of protein powder, then after working out, add cold water and/or milk and shake. The powder dissolves quickly and thoroughly and they are easy to wash, dishwasher safe.

Its an alright bottle but will leak after a while a little!

Bought 2 of these shakers a couple of weeks ago. A shaker isn't too difficult to make right, but this one is definitely not made very well. It takes me multiple times to screw on the lid correctly because it tends to screw on unevenly. If the lid is on uneven, it starts to leak. That is my only complaint about this product, but that's honestly all a shaker really needs - a lid and a wide opening to put your supplement into. I've had other GNC shakers before that did not have this problem, but this is shaker is just not worth it, no matter what the price is.

i've read other reviews saying this product leaks, but so far i haven't had any problems with that. given the price of this shaker, i think it's a great value.

This is a very good product, the only negative is no matter how much i wash it, the odor from my protein shakes seams to never go away but its not a bad odor at least, other than that works perfectly, I've had this bottle for over a year now with no problems at all.

works great for the first few weeks and then the rubber seal inside the top portion gets twisted or breaks and the bottle is useless since it leaks during any shaking or drinking motion. probably best to spend a couple more bucks for a better one.

LEAN SHAKE

no need for blender for guys who work out hard like me that need raw material like protein right after work out.

Very cheaply made and leaves clumps of whatever your mixing inside. Also leaks and drips not matter how tight you twist it on. Go with blender bottle if you want a good shaker cup.

I bought two of these and after one or two uses the cap on the vent began to split causing it to leak when the cup was shaken.

You could"nt have something more easier to use. No chemistry knowledge needed here.

I use this every day to mix my protein shake. The best part about it is the extra vent on the lid that lets you drink from it easily. The worst part is that the seal on the lid wears out quickly and it leaks.

I bought this after using the same shaker bottle for possibly years. I was at GNC and decided to buy one since it was [$] with the gold card.So far it has done a tremendous job. Instead of the little metal ball of the shaker bottle, this has like a plastic ring that adjusts firmly inside of the bottle so it won't go jumping up and down when you start shaking furiously. The cap also adjusted well and I haven't gotten any spills from shaking the thing. What I like is that it also has another tiny cap that you can open to adjust the air intake and also the flow of how much you drink.

I have purchased quite a bit of these shakers over a period of time, both the red cap and the black cap shakers. They both are the same design and type, but the seal ring in the red cap shaker is not made very well at all. I have had in the last 3 months two of these seal rings break, meanwhile the black cap shaker that I have has lasted nearly 7 months. I wash and maintain both shakers the same way which is hand washed, but one lasts and the others simply do not. I would stay away from this type (red cap) and opt for a different shaker.

I think this cup works great !
