Not great for drinking anymore

It tastes great in oatmeal, but if you make a shake, with water or milk, theres some serious bad tasting grit in the formula now that is always left behind as a residue.

Used to be good.

They changed the formula and it now tastes horrible. Don't they taste their changes?

Best tasting protein shake

Great nutrition, great taste. This is a win/win for me. I ordered the vanilla as well and not such a great taste. Get the Chocolate, it's the best!

Dark chocolate flavor makes you forget it's a protein shake!

Isopure mixes are some of my favorites because I don't react in any way, where other brands sneak in carbs and undesirable additives that me bloated and miserable. Overall this is probably my favorite, the mix is smooth and drinks clean all the way to the bottom without separating. It reminds me of sneaking cocoa as a kid, before I realized the cocoa had no sweetness, but this powder is delicious.

Great taste without too much sweetness. I put my glass in freezer for about 30min and wahla, a slush of cold chocolate! (I use a straw) Love it, please don't ever take off the market.

Day starter!

I like all Isopure flavors. This is no exception. I use 1 scoop, a coffee flavored fat burner powder and water. I'm on Weight Watchers- that is 2 points and 25 grams of protein to start my day! The flavors aren't too sweet or artificial tasting. Blends well. I bought a frother on Amazon (it charges and comes with a stand. -game changer!) I really look forward to starting my day with it! Chocolate, cookies and cream, banana cream, vanilla- those are the flavors I have on stand by.

It doesn't cause gastrointestinal distress like many other protein powders, but the flavor isn't 5 star.

Flavor Can Be Improved

Seems to be working, seem to have noticed results in my muscles, but flavor can be improved. I add the protein to my daily fruit smoothie but barely notice the flavor. GNC's choco powder makes the smoothie taste 'whey' better… lol

Delicious and Lactose free

This stuff is great. I’m lactose intolerant, and this stuff is so pure that all the lactose is removed and it is easy on my stomach. I think this is a way better option for me than being forced to use vegan proteins. I also took the advice of another review and mix this in with some cooled down coffee, great morning and afternoon shake while I’m working.

Great mixed with coffee for breakfast!

I've been having a scoop mixed in with my coffee for breakfast and again for a mid-morning snack for almost 10 years. No funny after taste - just make sure the coffee is not too hot or the protein will all clump together. Shake it up in blender ball bottle and you're all set. The two servings keeps me plenty fulfilled until lunch and even beyond. Great way to get your protein!

Skeptical about this one…until I tried it.

I was hesitant. I read the reviews & was still hesitant. I went ahead and ordered a small bag. I got about halfway through that 1-Lb bag and ordered the tub. There’s no funky after taste, it shakes well & blends perfectly. I add some peanut butter to change it up but the flavor is better than Isagenix (minus the carbs too!). Pleasantly surprised. My son loves the Tahitian Vanilla no prefer the chocolate!

Best low carb protein drink powder I have ever used. Doesn’t have a diet taste and is smooth, I refrigerate it for about 30 minutes in the freezer before I drink and it makes it like a fudgy shake. Will not ever change!!

I absolutely love this particular flavor of Isopure. I will often blend it with bananas, almond butter, and almond milk for the tastiest post workout smoothie! This powder mixes completely with just water as well.

I like this protein powder but it doesn’t mix great in warm water. I love my protein “cocoa” on cold days but this brand doesn’t dissolve as good as another brand. Overall though, this is a great chocolate protein powder!

I do not care for the aftertaste

The product was as advertised, but I personally, do not like the aftertaste which I guess is from the type of no/lo carb sweetener. However, it is a good quality product and I got it at a fair price.

Weigh your scoops

Mixes easily. Cookies and cream and vanilla taste good. Strawberries and cream...not so much. One thing to note is that the provided scoop is not a great measurement of a single serving. I was surprised when I weighed a level scoop and it is was several grams less than the 31 gram serving. I suggest weighing it out.Otherwise great product. This is my go-to protein powder.

Top 5 for sure

This has multiple vitamins and minerals as well as just being top quality protein. Like the fact it is processed with alkali. Sodium content is a little high but I am willing to take that with all of the benefits this offers. Just adjust your diet accordingly. For those that take 2 scoops of protein daily I would recommend taking a second protein that has almost no (low) sodium or even an amino acid blend instead but if you take one and have a decent diet this is king.
