A part of the formula is magnesium gluconate, one of the forms with greater bioavailability, the other part is magnesium oxide, which has less bioavailability, it would be good to indicate in the nutritional table the exact amount of each type of magnesium, defining The utility of the product.

The BEST!!
I had a throidectomy a few years ago and have episodes of heart palpitations when my magnesium level is low. Even landed in the hospital for magnesium infusions. This magnesium is the only one that maintains my level with daily doses. I went through several brands before finding this one. Please keep it in stock, GNC! Thank you!!

Buyer beware
I recently bought this for muscle cramping and other health issues. I noticed that I wasn't seeing any improvement. After researching, I found out why. Only 6 mg out of 250 mg of magnesium oxide is actually absorbed by your body. Have quit taking this and moved on to magnesium citrate, which is much more absorbable.

What is "Vegetable Acetoglycerides" listed as an ingredient in this magnesium?
Mary C B on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My understanding when I read up on it was it was most likely used for the coating. I found mention of the product as a coating material, oil agent. considering the tablets I ordered were labeled as pure "vegetable product" I thought it a better product. However the bottom line was it contributed to COMPLETELY eliminate my migraines (along with B-2) so it could be nuclear and I'd still use it because it works for me!
What do you mean by 'Vegetarian tablets'? Does this mean that this one is for the Vegetarians only? Because I am NOT a vegetarian, I'm concerning the order. Please advise me.
A shopper on Aug 1, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The description "Vegetarian Tablets" certifies the product as not made from any animal products. The GNC Magnesium 250 MG Vegetarian Tablets are fine for anyone to take.
