Aloe Vera capsules
I started taking these capsules a couple of years ago. They help minimize my indigestion. I can't prove they have made a difference with my hair, nails and over all skin, but when I go without taking them for a while everything changes for the worse. I won't go without them anymore. I'm 60 yrs old but I'm told I look like I'm in my 40s. I really think aloe Vera is part of the reason.

No longer inner leaf gel only - now whole leaf w/latex
WARNING! THE LABEL IS WRONG! THE PRODUCT HAS CHANGED AND WEBSITE INFO IS WRONG! The product in stores and being shipped (as of Oct 2016) is labeled "Aloe Vera" not "Aloe Vera GEL". The main ingredient is listed as "Aloe Vera (whole leaf) 200:1" NOT "Aloe Vera GEL" as the website indicates. Aloe vera gel comes from the inner leaf ONLY. When you consume "whole leaf" aloe vera, you are consuming both aloe vera gel and aloe vera LATEX. It is the latex that is a laxative. If you do not want cramping and a strong laxative, then avoid this product! Anyone with IBS or bowel disease such as Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis should avoid this as whole leaf products cause a flare-up in most people with those conditions.

I contacted GNC before buying this product because they used to sell aloe vera gel capsules and switched to these aloe vera whole leaf capsules a couple of years ago. A lot of customers complained about it online and so I was hoping they had switched back to just the gel (inner leaf only). Their customer service product team told me that from what they could see, the product was the gel capsules as the website indicates. Unfortunately, they were wrong - as is the website - and GNC is still selling Aloe Vera WHOLE LEAF capsules, which is nothing like the gel (= inner leaf only) capsules. Pity. The product is going back immediately.

aloe ver gel
I take a lot of different meds. Including a pain pill that can plug me up. I take the aloe daily and it is wonderful for bloating, gas and constipation. I will never go without it. Thanks so much.

I bought the liquid gel for my dod's pw is it safe to apply this
A shopper on Mar 17, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Please explain what you mean by "dods pw". If you mean "dog's paw", some people have given aloe vera orally to dogs without harm, and with some good results. However, the product you mention was formulated for humans and does not give the proper dosage for dogs. You need to check this out with your vet.
