Poor Dissolving Properties
This product should dilute easily in water. My question is what is it that isn't dissolving? Obviously the product hasn't been tested very well before it went to market.

Does not dissole
THe speed of a power dissolving is a key judgment on how good the quality is. ANd this product has to be judged poorly, due to the extremely poor dissolving level. It is like it refuses to mix in, it actually gets hard in water. So that means you will have to put in more work to make sure you actually drink all of it and not have it sitting on the bottom of your cup. Not worth it

Need to mix hot
This project does not mix well cold. It mixes perfectly in hot liquid so I typically add to my tea or coffee. It will change the taste to whatever you mix it with but I personally found a positive taste effect to plain water, natural taste effect to tea and neutral to slightly negative taste effect to coffee. With that said all three mix very well and maintain a very drinkable beverage. I found this product effective eliminating muscle cramps.

Won't dissolve
Won't dissolve in water. The guy at the store told me to put it in juice, but I don't drink juice so it is a no go for me. I returned it.

Great for Keto cramps
After trying what seemed like every sodium, potassium and magnesium product on the market, this is the only supplement that relieved my keto cramps.

Had the same issue with the powder not completely dissolving, however I still get the benefits even when I don't consume all of the undissolved white pieces.

Difficult to dissolve, incomplete information
It is hard to get this stuff to dissolve. I have to put it in about 6 oz of HOT water, like almost boiling, and swirl it around for about a minute to dissolve the powder, then add a bunch of ice to cool it off. Also the label does not indicate what kind of magnesium it is, whether it is magnesium oxide or citrate. I would like this information to be available.

Dissolves overnight, otherwise not
I had the same problem with this product that Elizabeth O has, but I found that if I prepare it and leave it overnight, those white chunks eventually dissolve. Hence, four stars because of this minor inconvenience.

Oh, and the taste: It's pretty bad WHEN I DON'T ACTUALLY NEED TO REPLACE ELECTROLYTES. After I lose a lot of sweat, this stuff goes down like manna. That's exactly what I was looking for in an electrolyte formula. I'm old enough to remember the original Gatorade, which was awful if you didn't need it, but delicious after a workout. Now, it's nothing but a soft drink, certainly not a sports drink.

This stuff, however, is for real.

Great solution for my ketosis dehydration issues
This was one of the few readily available electrolyte powders that I found locally (GNC store) that also had L-glutamine. On my 5th day of ketosis, I experienced severe muscle cramping. After finding this and using it in about 1/3 of my regular hydration throughout the day, I've had zero issues.

Also, it doesn't dissolve well without serious shaking (most of it does, I suspect the L-glutamine has some non-polar components but a shaker helps a lot, and it is basically tasteless.

Does not dissolve in liquids
I was excited to try this powder, but unfortunately this powder just does not dissolve in liquids. I have tried cold water and warm water to see if that makes a difference, but no change. Regardless of the water temperature, there are big chunks of white powder (they seem to get bigger once in water) in my drink that taste funny and scratch your throat. Look elsewhere for an electrolyte powder.

What's up with the big white chunks that won't dissolve? Is this a defective product? I worry that I should not use it. I would like an official spokesperson for Beyond Raw Chemistry Labs to address this issue. Please and thank you.

I can only drink this once a day?
A shopper on Jan 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I don’t think you need to take it more than once a day. If you are not doing high intensity exercises I don’t think you should take it more than twice a week. But that is my opinion. If you are outside all day working hard, and it is hot outside, I might take it twice a day. It all depends on how you are sweating the electrolytes out of your system. Most of the time a good diet should replace your electrolytes without taking a supplement.
Back before I cared much about electrolytes I was working hard all day in the heat of the sun. Drank two gallons of water throughout the day and ended up suffering from some sort of heat exhaustion. The water washed the electrolytes out of my system without any being put back in. My body has never been the same since and that was over 10 years ago. On most occasions I don’t think people need this kind of supplement but on occasion it could be beneficial plus you get to avoid all the sugar in sports drinks.
