My face has not been this clear and bright in such a long time. and my random breakouts have almost completely gone away! I use this in the morning and at night or just whenever I get out of the shower. I've only used the rose petal and love it, not sure if I even want to try another scent. I am so happy I added this to my skin care routine.

New staple
This is the best toner I have ever used. Before trying Thayers rose petal witch hazel I had nearly given up hope to have a toner in my skin care routine. None worked well with my skin. But this one... It’s completely non drying. It calms my redness, doesn’t feel sticky or make my skin feel tight once dry. Lovely natural rose scent. I would love to try the lavender and cucumber formulas but I just don’t see how anything could be better than this toner.

Great Toner
I went through two bottles of this toner and loved it! I've only used the cucumber version, and the scent and feel was so refreshing. Thinking of going back to this toner (:

Why did you choose this?
GNC Store
I purchased this because I wanted a "natural" moisturizer. I don't wear make up, drink plenty of water, and wanted to keep my radiant look. I read the reviews and give it a try. Glad I did. I have my teenage son using it to keep his face clear.

Do you use it all over your body with your hands or a cottonball or after a shower?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2011
BEST ANSWER: I couldn't find anything about the questions you asked, but since it's face toner, I would recommend using it after a shower with your hands.
I saw in the product description it says this is an alcohol-free toner, just as shown in the picture. But when I looked at the SUPPLEMENT FACTS, it says Other Ingredients include ‘Natural grain alcohol (10%)’.

Could you please confirm it to me whether or not it is alcohol-free?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Genuine witch hazel is not witch hazel if it does not contain exactly 14% alcohol. The 10% grain alcohol is a different alcohol than the type found in normal witch hazel products. Grain alcohol is a legal classification for neutral spirit that is distilled from fermented grain mash and stored in oak containers.
Does this type of witch hazel expire? I was told that it doesn't by a company that I bought my first bottle from, but I would like clarification as to whether it actually does expire or not.
A shopper on Feb 1, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The leaves and bark of the Witch-hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) are used to produce the astringent, referred to as witch hazel, and used medicinally. The astringent does not expire. So this product would not have an expiration date on it.
Can this product be used for under eye puffiness?
Martin on Nov 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use it as a toner, so I put it on my entire face, just avoid getting it in the eyes. I don't have puffy eyes though.
Does it have a strong scent or subtle?

Can I use this as a setting spray?
A shopper on Feb 17, 2017
when i use it, i feel my face is burning. is it normal?
A shopper on Oct 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe witchhazel is a gentle toner. If it produces a mild 'burn', that's pretty normal with toners and astringents. If its producing a strong burn with redness, you need to stop using it.
