Easy Fresh Tomato Salsa Recipe

Quick and Satisfying Fresh Tomato Salsa

A house staple with the bonus extra fiber! And it’s not just for chips, this salsa is also great as a salad topper or baked on chicken or fish.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 (14.4 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeds and stem removed, roughly chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeds and stem removed, roughly chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
  • 4 scoops GNC Natural Brand Clear Mixing Super Fiber
  • ¾ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice, or to taste
  • ½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS

Put one can of tomatoes, peppers, onion, cilantro leaves, Super Fiber and lime juice in blender or food processor. Process until fairly smooth. Add in the second can of tomatoes and process briefly. The flavor can be adjusted by adding additional cayenne pepper or lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving.
