Possibly good as a preventative
This may be a great preventative but this particular brand should not be used to treat any existing UTI. I took this under the assumption and after researching the efficacy of this particular supplement and was nearly septic by the time I sought medical attention. I can say that it definitely decreased the symptoms but the bacteria increased dramatically.

No more UTI!
I was struggling with persistent UTIs (getting them every 2 months) and I couldn’t take antibiotics often due to other health concerns. This was the only thing that worked, and I’ve tried three other cranberry supplements. Thank goodness I found this! D-mannose saved me!

Do you take 2 capsules in the morning or one in

Do you take one

Do you take 2 in the morning or 1 twice a day?
Carol P on Jan 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I take two capsules emptied into a cup of water at breakfast along with a probiotic. I do this daily. The mannose keeps the bladder walls slick so the bacteria cannot stick and cause infection. Prior to intimacy I take 2 capsules dissolved in water also for extra protection. I have some powdered mannose that I take 1,000 mg of after intimacy. This capsule could be taken as well. Cranberry has D-mannose in it naturally occurring. GNC brand was recommended by urologist. Great stuff!
