What did GNC study?<\/h3>\n

A team of Scientists and Registered Dietitians at GNC formulated a state-of-the-art thermogenic blend, known as GNC X12\u2122. The goal of this study was to determine if GNC X12\u2122 would impact calorie burn following one-hour of walking on a treadmill at a low intensity. After subjects consumed the thermogenic blend or a placebo, measurements capturing heart rate, blood pressure, and energy expenditure were measured at various time points. The study was performed in a controlled environment before, during, and following activity on two separate occasions. GNC chose a randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled crossover study with two treatment arms: GNC X12\u2122 vs. placebo. A double-blinded study design eliminates bias as both researchers, staff, and volunteers are unaware of which product was received.
