How To Use

Add about 1 heaping scoop of Pro Gainer™ to 16 fluid ounces of cold water or milk in a shaker cup. Close tightly and shake until thoroughly mixed. So expensive
great product but this is literally $30 more at GNC than any other supplement outlet.

This product tastes great and works very well. Thing is here it's very expressive. You can buy same thing on Amazon for $30 less all day long .

Exactly What It Says It Is
This product was a bit of a disappointment to me. Optimum Nutrition is such a great company and brand. I love all their other products. However this one did not hold up. I have used many different proteins. But since it is winter time, I wanted to build up rather than stay cut. After using this product all it did was leave me bloated. After weeks of use, the only difference I noticed was a bigger gut, nothing else was building up. Also, the packaging and scooper are not labeled properly. It comes with a scooper measured in cups, oz, ml, and yet the directions say to take "one heaping scoop" as if we know the exact amount. I will not stray from ON's products, they are excellent, but will never waste my money on this expensive protein gainer again.

Top Notch Gainer
My goal is to gain some lean muscle in specific areas to help with my game (Semi-pro soccer player). I needed upper body (shoulder, arms), back and thigh strength. I only worked out those areas and have noticed significant gains in power, strength and size. Now I hold off guys bigger than me in size and run faster. I take it three times a day with regular meals and before and after games. I also combine this with Creatine capsules. I have gained 7 pounds of lean muscle and look bigger in about a month a half.

Works for me
I take this every day after my workouts, usually blended with ice, a banana, spinach, and maybe peanut butter. I think it tastes pretty good and it doesn't feel like I drank cement.

I have tried gainers before without success, but I really like this one. I just finished my first 10 pound bag and I've seen gains in appearance and on the scale. The macros are good - 60 g of protein per serving! - and a good amount of carbs for gaining.

For the price, this is a great product.

FYI: I also take creatine, fish oil, and a pre-workout. I do a 6-day split routine.

BEST ANSWER: The answer is...hell yes. Have lots of servings of food of each day. Around 3-5 would be good. Eat healthy and foods with high protein.

BEST ANSWER: I had the same problem. Here's what worked for me: --- 1) Exercise regularly. Focus on weightlifting and skip cardio until you've reached your goal body weight (cardio burns calories and to gain weight and muscle you need those calories). Develop a workout plan targeting each of your muscle groups separately and do few reps with high weight. Nothing beyond what you are capable of lifting safely (remember stretching and form are essential). I did three sets of six reps each at high weights. --- 2) Nutrition and protein. My target was to consume 1g of protein for every pound I weighed. Plus, be sure to take in enough calories. There are plenty of apps that can give you a daily target based on your current weight and your goal weight. For me, that was around 2,500-3k calories/day. PRO GAINER was perfect for me and I still use it. I started at 6', 120lbs and after six months of this plan I was 165lbs and visibly muscular. Remember to stick to your exercise and diet daily (with a few days of rest per week). If you can do that, you'll start seeing results within as little as a few weeks. But don't obsess over your weigh-ins (it's a marathon, not a sprint). Best of luck!

You take 4 spoons per day at a total additional calorie intake of 2500 calories per day plus the calories from the mix liquid, if any. Your metabolism must be very high. Try using whole milk to mix with the Gainer for extra calories and nutrients. You are taking enough supplement nutrients to aid in gaining weight. Concentrate on your meals. Slowly add higher calorie choices. As in weight loss, slow weight gain is best. Obviously muscle gain, not fat, is your goal. Increase your meal calories until you see a 1 or 2 pound gain per week.

BEST ANSWER: It's honestly best just to drink as much in a day as you can. I bought this for my grandmother and it has helped her tremendously. She also has a friend with difficulty keeping nutrients in and this made such a huge difference, his nurses love the results.

Your portion size is up to you but obviously the more you use the easier you'll gain.

SPOON STIRRED: Just add one heaping scoop of Pro Complex™Gainer to a glass filled with 16 oz. of water, nonfat milk or your favorite beverage. Then mix it up with a spoon. Stir for about 20 seconds or until powder is completely dissolved.
SHAKER: Just add one heaping scoop of Pro Complex™ Gainer to your shaker cup and then pour in 16 oz. of your preferred beverage. Cover and shake for 20-30 seconds. TIP: Mixing onescoop with 6-8 fl. oz. of nonfat milk instead of water will give you a thicker, creamier shake.

BEST ANSWER: This product is fine for muscle gain, but to avoid fat gain, eat a lower fat diet as this contains high amounts of carbohydrates, which when combined with high fat, makes you gain fat.
