The best tasting zince lozenge ever
I have used these for the past 20+ years or whenever they appeared at GNC. It is unnecessary to have a cold if you take these the moment you feel "off". I haven't had a cold for years.

I make sure they are available everywhere: car, purse, travel bag, night stand, vitamin drawer.

I am trying to click on the 5th star...but can't seem to make it work. Be assured, this is a 5 star product.

Zinc lozenges
Anytime I start to have a sore throat I use these. They are great tasting and really stop sore throats. I always recommend them to people and usually carry them in my purse to give them a sample.

Zinc "Oxide" !
Came here looking for a lower priced alternative to the LE Zinc Acetate product that I have used for years (which works).

All evidence based research validating the efficacy of zinc for reduction of common cold or allergy is based on ZINC ACETATE.

Some of these reviews are also fake, likely written by paid shills hired by GNC marketing division Notice how the reviewer incorrectly stated this GNC formula contains "Zinc gluconate". The GNC ingredients clearly state "Zinc OXIDE. Zinc Oxide or Zinc gluconate will not release enough of the zinc ions to create the unique effect that zinc Acetate does to reduce or eliminate the symptoms of cold or allergies.

Vit-C is an excellent immune booster, but has NO place in a zinc lozenge designed to reduce cold symptoms, the PH of the C renders Zinc useless for its intended purpose and such small amount of Vit-C (200mg) has little to any nutritional benefit.

This GNC formula appears to be designed to sell based on using NAMES of popular well known ingredients.

Want to know the real deal on Zinc Acetate and how it works to reduce cold symptoms?

Would not be without this product
This is a wonderful product for preventing or shortening colds. Whenever we start coughing or dripping we immediately take 2 of these and continue until symptoms subside. For a while these were not available. We are so pleased to see they are again and would never be without them when traveling or during the winter.

Charge your immune system with zinc lozenges
These lozenges are ideal to prevent mostly colds. The ingredients are well balanced( echinacea, zinc gluconate, and vitamin C). The convenience of breakable blister oaks is great.

Ultra Zinc Lozenges® - Orange
These zinc lozenges are the best for warding off colds and if you get one, it will lessen the length, the affect and uncomfortable feelings that go with a cold. These really do boost your immune system so that you can guard against colds.
Just wish GNC would have more in stock in all their stores.

I have used this product for years whenever my throat is starting to get sore. I have had fabulous success using this with Airborne. Using the two products stops most of my colds and sore throats. I keep a constant supply of the Zinc—the quality is consistently excellent.

Best thing to head off a cold
At the first sign of a cold, I start taking these zinc losenges and it's usually gone within 4 days. They taste very pleasant and are easy on a sore throat.

how often do you take the ultra zinc lozenges? there are no directions as to how many to take in a 24 hour period.
k s on Mar 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I will take no more than 5 a day, usually less, if I have a cold. Usually one or two will help keep me from getting a cold if someone around me has one and I want to avoid it. I eat well and get plenty of sleep.
