Treated hot spots and dry skin on my Scottish terrier
My dog, a Scottish terrier has allergies and would suffer from dry skin and hot spots mainly on his paws. I tried several shampoos and conditioners with oatmeal and tea tree oil, even put fish oil in his food. I found this shampoo and conditioner combo to be the best! No more hot spots or dry skin. In the beginning, I left the conditioner on his paws a little longer to treat the hot spots. It treated it in no time. The combo leaves his skin refreshed, moisturizes his skin and softens his fur.

Great product
My dog was miserable with itches. We tried this and it worked immediately. Pretty expensive, though.

Worth it?

First off it is a bigger bottle than the others for a good price. It is a bit thinner soap which helps to lather up easier and seems to work very well, even though i have only gave my Dog 1 bath with is so far. But overall i am very impressed with this one, he seems to want to scratch less now also.

My shots mix has horrible dry skin and is always rubbing on everything and is miserable. We have tried oatmeal shampoos and coconut oil and changing his diet but nothing worked. We finally tried this and it was like instant relief for him! He is so much happier! I would recommend this product to anyone who has a dog who is always itchy!

BEST ANSWER: Once a month is recommended by my vet. More frequently can break down the skin’s protective barrier.

Can you use the conditioner right after using the gnc anti-itch shampoo?
A shopper on Jan 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes! We keep the shampoo on our dog as long as possible, and then rinse, and give her a once over with conditioner so she is soft, and smells extra good.
