Lower cholesterol
My cholesterol dropped 200 points total since I've been taking these and whole husk psyllium husk. Not sure if both are responsible or one is more responsible than other but I'm going to keep taking both. Red yeast extract is one of the ingredients in some of the cholesterol-reducing prescriptions but without all the nasty side effects.
