Good alternative
I switched from the stimulant to the non-stimulant formula due to a problem with high blood pressure. The stimulant formula has caffeine and I had to cut its intake. So far, I like it.

GP said it's OK, seems to be working...
So, I had this checked out by my doc prior to starting a workout routine after several years of inactivity. My GP looked at it - said OK for me - I have occasional cardiac arrythmia/palpitations with tachycardia (fatigue and stress related, or when I get sick and dehydrated, also linked to alcohol consumption). So, with all that in consideration, my Doc said "OK. No stimulants, all ingredients look good - give a try but stick to ONLY cardio for a while till you're feeling back in shape. No weights till then!"

So, I'm on day 12 of my new routine. 18 more days, and it will be a habit!

I walk 2-5 miles a day on a treadmill. I take all the pills except the yellow pill with a small breakfast. They do not make me sick or turn my stomach. They make me burp a little, like when you take fish oil, but really minimal. Then I pop the yellow pill 45 mins before activity. I find that I am not fatigued after the workout. While I feel tired physically from the workout, I feel like I could keep working out if I had the time. In other words, no mental fatigue and quick gains in my body. The water pill in there has already reduced the inflammation and swelling from my old bad diet lifestyle, and my leg pain (after a day at work, sitting, I'd be in bad bad leg pain all night. So - the turmeric (anti-inflammation) in the pills and the water pill are working. I am back in size 36 jeans!! Although I know they are generously cut, this is pretty impressive. I work abs a LOT.

I tried the pills little by little to make sure I had no negative reaction or allergy to them. I took only one of them a day until I tried them all. I can say this with confidence: Yes, there is a marked difference on the pills vs. prior to the pills. I find there is much, much less muscle fatigue (aches and pains) the next day on this formula. I have more energy at the end of the workday and I find that sleep is ABSOLUTELY essential. With the right amount of sleep, this formula, and being conscious of your workout routine, you probably won't have muscle aches at all post workout.

I felt so good and comfortable that after about 100 miles of walking I broke the doctors orders and starting lifting. I alternate cardio and weight by day. The gains are fast. Really. I am seeing really big body changes in simply 1 solid week of lifting combined with very active cardio (running/jogging). I have not felt this good mentally since I was in college and I have not looked this good in years. I still need to lose 20 pounds, yes. But, it's happening darn fast.

Of course, I'm watching my diet. Only fiber carbs. No sugar. Maybe some sugar alcohol in the Questbars from GNC and Planet Fitness. Pure fruit and veggie shake in the morning with some protein powder. A Quest Bar and something like a salad for lunch. And dinner, I'm still working on that...I like pasta ;) But, I work out all the harder the next day.

I want to personally thank the GNC rep from the day I went to the store in August 2016 who listened to my goals and my needs, as well as my health issues. He took a good 45 minutes with me assessing and offering various non-stim packages. There is a SEA of options out there and he simply listened and recommended, and that's just what I needed. I want to thank him, he's in the Colonie Center store in Albany, NY and I feel his advice and your product are a huge part of the new me, and I can't imagine how awesome things are going to be after six months. You've gained a life-long customer by really listening to my needs and goals.

I have been taking this since it came out. I like both, but this one works better is you stack with something else that does have stimulants

If i workout early in the morning before work. Should i take these pills before workout or after workout with food?
A C on Feb 12, 2017
It is difficult to take the whole packet every in the morning for me. What is the best way to take? Two peels at a time, if so, which two?
A shopper on Aug 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Take the thermo before your workout, and then split the other pills into two doses. I took this vitapak for a couple years and would take half in the morning with breakfast and the other half at lunch.

If i workout early in the morning, should i take the pills after my workout with food or before?
A shopper on Feb 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used to workout in the mornings and would take the thermo right when I woke up. After my workout I would eat breakfast and take half of the pills, then take the other half with lunch. That's just a personal thing, but you could take all them in the morning with food after your workout.
What is the difference between this "non stimulant formula" versus the other men's ripped vitapak that has the red pill?
A shopper on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The "non stimulant formaula" refers to the thermogenic in the pack. It is a decaf version of the thermo that is in the regular ripped vitapak.
