Very nice
I love the taste of it, and especially when I add ice and blend it up before drinking. I usually take one before work or in the morning before school and find myself full and satisfied.

It's really that good.
I got a cookie butter in my pro box. Let's say this was wonderful. I added a little heavy cream with almond milk blamed with a little ice. Best Low carb breakfast in a long time. I'm going to see if my gnc have the individual size packages as I like to change up flavors. Anyway get some it's really that good.

A godsend
I love this product! I am so happy I tried this instead of another diet system my friend is on right now. GNC literally saved me 300 dollars (that I honestly can't spend per month anyway). As a 33 year old, 5'1 female, any extra weight is easy to see and well I managed to gain about 25 pounds the last two years. I'm not fat but I was not feeling too great about my self (physically and mentally). Some of my clothes didn't fit anymore. I was making poor food choices, eating too much, and exercising on and off. So it was time for a change. I have nothing to negative to say. It tastes great, leaves you full, and does not make you bloated or gassy. I've only been using it since Oct 26th but had to write a review because I'm so pleased with it.

Loving this!
I purchased a chocolate peanut butter and a banana. Much as I love chocolate and peanut butter, I have to say that I love the banana shake even better. They do leave me feeling full. I have been replacing either a lunch or dinner with this each day, and the pounds are disappearing.

Great Item
I drink one in morning, eat regular lunch, and drink one in evening. Use 2 cups of Chocolate Almond Milk, 2 Scoops of Lean 25, and 2 cups of crushed ice in blender. Lost 25 lbs. in 45 days. Love the taste.

BEST ANSWER: While the information is "out there", at your age you should make an appointment to see your family physician. Cutting certain nutrients can be dangerous to your health. Advising you at 14 on what to do would be irresponsible on the parts of users to this site. Good luck.
How does this product compare to Shakeology by Beach Body?
A shopper on Jul 13, 2016

Can I drink this once a day? And just after my workout as a replacement for dinner ?
A shopper on Mar 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I drink two meal replacements a day and with a meal and a protein bar I'm satisfied, but I had weight to lose and not working out due to disability (which made losing difficult).
this was a tremendous success for me - after losing 45 lbs..
I have never used a protein shake, but decided to ask my local GNC about it. The employee recommended Total Lean 25 and I said yes to trying it. I am looking to lose a little bit of weight but not much. What I really want is muscle tone, will the Total Lean 25 shake help quite a bit with that?
A shopper on Aug 25, 2012
BEST ANSWER: This is a supplement designed for exercising portion control to promote a successful weight training program, which supports lean muscle tone.

A shopper on Oct 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, you should not take GNC's Total Lean Lean Shake 25 if you are breastfeeding.
My powder did not come with a scoop. How else can I measure a serving?
A shopper on May 6, 2012
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to measure a serving size by weight according to the product label. A serving size is 52 grams. If you don't have access to a metric scale, 52 grams is equal to 1.83 ounces.
Can people who are lactose intolerant use this product?
A shopper on Jan 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: In my experience, even if you are lactose intolerant whey protein is well tolerated (by my stomach at least, everyone is different). The whey itself doesn't contain enough lactose to cause a reaction for many people. Worth a try if you're willing to risk the upset stomach for a day.

While I know that Lean Shake is for Meal Replacement, my question is about using the product as a pre workout meal. Will this shake provide me with the right nutrients for a long run (10+ miles).
A shopper on Jul 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: It should be fine as a meal replacement by itself, but if you are looking for a little more nutrients before a long run, try mixing it with skim milk instead of water.
Other than water, what else can I use to prepare the shake?
A shopper on May 5, 2013

I am on day two of the lean shakes...I am experiencing terrible gas is this normal and what am I doing wrong...could I be drinking the shake to fast or too slow. I drink it with water...12 ounces. Thanks
A shopper on Apr 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Gas is one potential side effect of protein and fiber consumption. Try to slightly reduce your intake until your body adjusts.
Are there recipes such as adding fruit to the shake mix?
A shopper on Mar 30, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Everyone seems to have a recipe for everything. If you have a blender, I say go wild.
French Vanilla? I might mix in some banana [not too green], or blue berry - a good anti-oxidant.
If I substitute milk instead of water, will I still see the same results by replacing a shake for 2 meals?
A shopper on Oct 16, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, you won't lose the same amount of weight because of the calories in milk; however, if you use skim milk, you should still see a good result--just not the same result you'd see if you used water.
The scoop states it is 50cc. The instructions call for two scoops, 52g. Which is correct? Two scoops or 52g?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: 50cc is roughly only 26g so 2 scoops would be correct.
With reference to my previouse question, dose oat bran contain gluten?
A shopper on Jul 11, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Oat Bran does not contain gluten, but much of the commercial oat bran sold contains gluten picked up from cross contamination in the production process. So you want to be sure to get oat bran certified as being gluten free.
Can I use more than 8oz. of water to dilute the 2 scoop serving size of mix? It's a little thick for my liking, but I don't want to alter the intended benefit(if there is one) of the recommended ratio.
A shopper on May 8, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can add additional water if needed to thin the shake a bit, just be sure to use the recommended 2 scoops to get all of the benefits needed.
Can you drink while nursing?
A shopper on Jul 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes
The nutrition information for the powder based specifies "oat bran"... the pre-mixed based product does not specify that... Does this mean the pre-mixed is not oat based ?... I worry about high cholestrol count... Is the pre-mixed product helpful for high cholestrol persons ?

Thank you...
A shopper on Jun 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The nutrition information and ingredients are the same in proportion to one another. The only difference is one is pre-mixed and one is powder base. There is no proof of reducing cholesterol levels for this product.
Can I drink this for breakfast as a meal replacement before working out?
Andrea M on Mar 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes I drink this for breakfast and at night to stop eating
Why is the calorie count higher in the power than it is in the premixed? Where can I try the other flavors? I don't want to pay for a container and then not like it. Thank you
A shopper on May 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The calorie count will be higher if you mix GNC Lean Shake™ with milk instead of water. Unfortunately, no samples are available for the GNC Total Lean™ Lean Shake™ line of products.
