Bye-Bye Hypothyroidism, Anxiety & Depression
Thanks to this product, I am no longer taking my Levothyroxine for thyroid disease and suffering from anxiety and depression (Yes, I had both). I would highly recommend this product and cannot say thank you enough to the makers of this supplement. It's amazing how much our bodies are affected by nutritional deficiencies. I will definitely be a life-long GNC customer. THANK YOU for giving me my life back!

Works for me
I started taking the Kelp pills about 2 weeks ago and my energy level is through the roof. I started exercising again and I feel great. I thought I might have had an iodine deficiency and I was correct. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said go for it.

Is kelp good for better skin?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, I use it for better thyroid function.
This product says it is 660 mg. but in reading lots of information about Kelp, it says not to take more than 150 micrograms. Will this product be harmful consuming so many mg?

BEST ANSWER: I take this Kelp every day, for several months, now. I just ran out, and ordering 2 bottles tonight, and I think the mg is ok. But you decide for you. Joyce
I have read that this helps with hair strengthening and sometimes even growth. Other reviews I've read have warned that new takers to Kelp have varying side effects. On of them listed was temporary hair loss, which would, obviously, defeat the purpose I would be purchasing this for. Recommendations for hair growth and general health have all been directed towards this product, how risky would this be with the possible side effects?

BEST ANSWER: There really is no guarantee that taking any supplement will work or won't work for each individual person. There is no way to determine whether your body would have an adverse reaction to kelp. I suggest talking it over with your doctor.
I have been encouraged to try taking kelp b/c my hair has been thinning alot and I have brittle nails and I have symptoms of a thyroid problem(unable to lose weight, tired all the time, etc...) but my blood test came back negative. Is this a good choice? It concerned me b/c I read that it said not to take for an extended period of time.

BEST ANSWER: iodine is key to healthy thyroid. You may want to be re-tested. If you are a woman have your obgyn do this. Most of the time there is more than one test that should be preformed one is not enough. They specialize in this because the thyroid is responsible for all the hormones in your body.
