One of the things I can’t live without!
I always like to have this particular Gel in my home because it is the best product of its kind available. So pleased I can buy it online and have it shipped to Australia. Reasonably priced too for such an excellent product. When I receive the large bottle I pour some into a small glass container and keep in the fridge for family to use for “skin” purposes: cuts, rashes, sunburn etc. So cooling on hot skin. Noelene

Misleading label as gel
This is not a gel, this is a juice. Nothing thick about it.

I want to make sure this is really a gel and not liquid. I'm looking for a thicker aloe vera gel.

Thanks.

How is this product used? is it diluted in water?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2010
BEST ANSWER: I use it instead of Prilosec for heartburn. It works great. I usually squeeze about 2 ounces into a cup, cover it with orange juice and stir. I swallow the larger pieces whole without chewing. I found this easier than the Aloe Vera juice because I would have to taste the juice.
Would this product be any good to use on dark circles around eyes and dry hair.
A shopper on Dec 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Don't know if this helps but here is a recipe I plan to use for my eyes.
MY “MIRACLE” EYE CREAM

Ingredients:

Sweet Almond Oil
Aloe Vera Gel

Directions:

eye serum

Combine equal parts almond oil and aloe vera gel in a small flip-top bottle.

eye serum
Shake to combine. (You will need to shake it before each use because it will separate.)

If you find the lotion is a bit too heavy, add more aloe, if you’d like it to be extra moisturizing, add more oil

If you have nut allergies, Apricot Kernel Oil is a great alternative.

Leave all those expensive eye creams and potions on the store shelves…all you need are two SIMPLE & INEXPENSIVE ingredients!

My wife bought Aloe Vera Gel in the 32 oz bottle. How much do you mix? It only said drink eight ounces a day - Is that eight ounces of aloe vera or eight ounces of mixture? Very confusing. If it is 8 ounces of aloe vera, how do you measure that from the bottle?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2012
BEST ANSWER: You should mix 2 tablespoons into a cup of your favorite juice or water at a time.
