Caffeine Free Herbal Tea
What will Organic Roasted Dandelion Root do for me? Dandelion root tea has shown "choleretic" effects, which means that it can stimulate the liver to increase bile flow.* Once bile is released by the liver, its two main functions are to carry away waste and to break down fats during digestion. How do I know it works? Dandelion's beneficial effects on liver and biliary tract function have been proven in pharmacological studies.* When should I use it? Drink one cup prepared with 1 to 2 tea bags, three times daily for up to 4-6 weeks. How does it taste? A pleasant roasted taste, sweet and slightly bitter.

From the corners of the earth, to the bottom of your teacup, we're preserving tradition and creating a sustainable future. How To Use

Brew Well to be Well®
For maximum benefit, herbal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over one tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your tea cup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract. Unless otherwise prescribed, drink 3 freshly prepared cups daily.
Consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you have severe acute, inflammation of the gallbladder, painful obstruction of the bowel, or obstructed bile ducts. Dandelion teas should be used for periods of up to 4-6 weeks, followed by a break before resuming. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use.

Taste isn't too bad, but not too great either. Seems to be working.

good natural tea
This tea is the closest thing to coffee taste you will find in a pure dandelion tea. The roasting is what makes it different than unroasted. If you know all the health benefits of dandelion, you will be happy to drink this, instead of coffee. I have added almond milk and vanilla flavored stevia drops, to give me the experience of drinking a flavored coffee, but just for my health, I will drink it plain.

Unique tea!
I'm drinking my first cup of this tea right now, after seeing it in the grocery store and buying it on a whim. I heard it was supposed to be a similar taste to coffee (I'd actually read about how to collect and roast your own dandelion root a few weeks ago) and, as I drink a ton of coffee, I wanted to try it.

The smell takes some getting used to, but the taste of the tea itself was indeed a bit reminiscint of coffee, but with a more herbal flavor (unsurprisingly.) It wasn't bitter at all in my opinion, but the flavor also wasn't too strong; I may have needed to give it more time to brew. Adding a little pure sugar changed the flavor in a surprising way, giving it an almost honey-like taste imo. It's very soothing and unique, and in taste alone I love this tea.

I can't say anything about the health benefits as this is my first cup, but I'm tentatively hopeful!

Dandelion Tea, STOPS Edema, of the feet!
IF, you have Edema of the feet and lower legs, put two Dandelion tea bags, in a 12-14oz. cup, heat the water in the microwave, place the two tea bags in the cup for about 10 minutes, squeeze the bags to get all the "good" out of them, sweeten to taste, add a little lemon juice, dring two cups every day, in two weeks you will see the difference.
Takes a couple of days to get use to the taste, then you will look forward to it!

It is a little "pricy" but well worth it!

THIS will relieve your Edema, also drink plenty of water.

Good tea
I bought this tea to cleanse my digestive system and to cleanse my liver. I mix equal parts dandelion root with peppermint tea as peppermint tea stimulates bile secretion as does the dandelion root. The dandelion root tastes a little bitter on its own, but tastes great with the peppermint. Sometimes I add lemon juice too.

Dandelion Root Tea; Okay by Me
Prior to recent travel to California I wanted to stop drinking coffee. Generally, I drank 1 large (20oz.) cup (and sometimes a smaller cup or even more later in the day) each day. However, I drank much Dutch Bros. coffee and other coffee in CA. The day after my return to NY (March 2, 2013) I had pain that seemed like indigestion. Therefore, I purchased this tea to help me get off of coffee and to aid my digestion. First, I tried taking another (usually very helpful and well-known name brand) product several times as prescribed but, this time, it did not work! The Dandelion Root tea worked wonders, although not instantly (not the very first cup), and the pain dissolved completely!! Drinking the tea along with and/or after meals has proven to be very helpful to my digestive system. Also, I have been able to drink this tea with and without a sweetener. I do not experience any funny/unusual smells or tastes from this tea as some others have. At the same time, I recognize that everyone has a different sense of smell and taste. I signed on to GNC to purchase more boxes of this tea and to try some of the other GNC teas. Prior to drinking the Dandelion Root tea, I generally purchased Aloe Vera or Vitamin E oil products from this company. Now, along with the DR tea, I am purchasing more GNC teas and other products, especially as (a person in the 50-year old age range) I seek to have better health. And, I have already suggested the DR tea and given some bags of it to a family member who has suffered with digestion problems after treatment for cancer of the esophagus. To everyone: I recommend trying the tea with or after meals or anytime of the day. So far, I have been drinking this tea everyday, sometimes sipping on a cup of it throughout the day. As another person mentioned in their post, maybe this is TMI but, I have also had little to no gas than what I was experiencing at the beginning of and after my travels between NY and CA. I could be wrong, even so, I also attribute this benefit to the DR tea.

Surprisingly Good!
I used this product as part of a detox. I found that when drinking this tea along with chocolately flavored foods, it tasted more like regular iced tea!

I'd absolutely buy this product again
Although this tea does have a strong flavor and can be bitter, if it's sweetened I find no problem with the strength or bitterness at all. I enjoy and prefer the flavor to many other herbal teas.

Is there raw dandelion tea?
A shopper on May 26, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Dandelion root can be roasted to change the flavor of the tea. The flavor can be a good alternative to coffee. However, the roasting process does increase the advanced glycation endproducts which can affect your health. Do not drink it more that once a day if you have diabetes, dementia, aging, cancer and inflammation as the advanced glycation endproducts can affect those disorders. Teas can be made out of dried dandelion roots, leaves, or flowers.
Would it be better to drink this with or after a meal rather than on an empty stomach? Is there any benefit to increasing bile flow if there is no food in the digestive track?
A shopper on Oct 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It does not matter when you ingest the tea. For maximum benefit, pour 8 oz of freshly boiled water over one tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep for 15 minutes.
