GNC manufactures its own private-label products under its manufacturing arm, Nutra Manufacturing, Inc. Nutra, located in Greenville, S.C., is dedicated to producing the highest-quality supplements using the latest technology in state-of-the-art facilities.

Our products are tested and formulated to meet the claims made on our labels. GNC brand multivitamins go through 150 quality and safety tests – more than what’s required by the FDA! GNC's manufacturing facility is one of the world’s largest dietary supplement manufacturers, and product quality is our business.

Nutra prides itself on its ability to meet consumer expectations and satisfy product demand. From the moment raw ingredients enter the Nutra facility until the finished product appears in GNC stores, we work hard to ensure no detail is overlooked and each product provides maximum benefit to the consumer. And we can produce a supply to meet almost any demand – Nutra Manufacturing has the capacity to produce over 13 billion units of softgels, caplets and capsules each year – the equivalent of nearly 60 million bottles of product annually!

Quality Control

Our quality control testing extends through the packaging stage to ensure the packaging is safe and that it protects the freshness of the contents. Each product undergoes another set of individual tests, including a seal check, count check, expiration date check, carton check, label and bottle check, neckband check and lot number check. This series of checks and balances ensures that the product you are buying is truly the best available.

From Us To You

A product is only as good as its availability to consumers, so we utilize state-of-the-art technology for effective fulfillment. This fulfillment technology ensures that our products get to the locations where they’re needed most, and allows for proper stock rotation and optimal product freshness at the point of purchase. Our distribution network – with three U.S. distribution centers – uses a fleet of 90 tractors and 120 trailers to move product safely and efficiently from our warehouses to our stores.
