Healthy Black Bean Dip Recipe

Protein packed and full of fiber, this dip is pretty enough for a party, but also makes an awesome afternoon snack to hold the hunger at bay.

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans black beans, drained and rinsed (divided)
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup diced red peppers
  • ½ cup diced mushrooms
  • 1 scoop GNC Pro Performance® 100% Whey Protein - Unflavored
  • 4 cloves garlic (pressed or minced)
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ⅓ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. ground chipotle
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper

Combine 1 can of beans with all other ingredients in blender or food processor, reserving the second can for later. Process until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary. Add remaining beans and process to desired consistency. Season salt and pepper to taste.
