Peppermint Mocha Protein Balls

This recipe for Total Lean Lean Shake 25 Peppermint Mocha protein balls are a guiltless treat to spread Holiday cheer. Snack on-the-go or bring to the office party – your taste buds and guests will be impressed! Easy to make, and oh so delicious!

Ingredients:

• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 scoop Total Lean® Lean Shake 25 Peppermint Mocha
• 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
• 2 tsp unsweetened baking cocoa
• 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, crushed peppermint, or Hershey kisses (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, honey, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and 1 scoop of Total Lean® Lean Shake 25 Peppermint Mocha.
2. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. If the batter is too thick, add a little bit of water, but not too much!
3. Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out the mixture and roll it into balls using your hands.
4. Dust or roll each protein ball in cocoa powder.
5. Place protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until they are firm.
6. Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
