Give your locks some DIY love with this hair remedy that you can whip up right at home. Made with coconut, jojoba and avocado oils, it’s the spa-level support your dry, damaged or curly hair deserves.
Ingredients
– 4 Tbsp. coconut oil
– 1 Tbsp. olive oil
– 2 tsp. Now® Jojoba Oil
– 1 tsp. Now® Avocado Oil
– 1 Tbsp. raw honey
– 5 drops Now® Rosemary Oil
– 5 drops Now® Pure Lavender Oil
– 1 plastic hair cap
Directions
Heat coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until it softens—but be careful not to over-heat it. Mix in all other ingredients and let cool until the mixture returns to a solid state at room temperature. It will soften again from the body heat in your hair.
Apply to slightly damp hair, sectioning thicker hair to keep from missing any spots. Once your hair is coated thoroughly, cover your entire scalp with a plastic cap. For finer, healthier hair, let sit for 15 minutes. For thicker, damaged or dry hair, let sit for 30 to 60 minutes. (But don’t use overnight.) Rinse with hot water to remove excess oils, then style as usual.
For best results, repeat this process every 3 days!
