This milestone follows GNC’s ongoing commitment to health, wellness, and hunger relief efforts, building on past contributions of millions of dollars’ worth of products.

PITTSBURGH, PA, October 21, 2024 – GNC, the global leader in health and wellness, proudly announces the successful completion of its National Multivitamin Day campaign, resulting in a $100,000 donation to Feeding America®. This contribution will help provide more than1,000,000 meals* to families  across the country, reinforcing GNC’s mission to help our communities Live Well.

The donation comes as part of GNC’s ongoing collaboration with Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in the U.S. This achievement follows GNC’s previous contributions, including the donation of 15 truckloads of health and wellness products valued at $6.4 million earlier this year.

“We are incredibly proud of the impact our National Multivitamin Day campaign has made. Multivitamins are essential for millions of Americans who struggle to meet their nutritional needs through diet alone, filling critical nutrient gaps that affect overall health and well-being,” said Michael Costello, CEO of GNC. “Through our partnership with Feeding America, we’re not only helping consumers take control of their health, but also ensuring that families across the country have access to proper nutrition. This $100,000 donation, which provides 1,000,000 meals, reflects GNC’s commitment to making a real difference in the health and wellbeing of our communities.”

“We are grateful for the generous support of GNC and its customers,” said Lauren Biedron, Feeding America’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “With this donation, Feeding America continues its work of providing food and resources to the growing number of people facing hunger.”

The funds were raised during GNC’s National Multivitamin Day campaign, which tied multivitamin purchases to donations. For every bottle of multivitamins sold in September, GNC committed $1 to Feeding America. With multivitamins accounting for a large portion of supplement sales, this campaign not only highlighted the benefits of multivitamins for individual health but also contributed to collective well-being by addressing food insecurity.

*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local partner food banks.
