PITTSBURGH, May 13, 2024 – GNC, the global leader in health and wellness, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Oded Shein as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Shein brings over three decades of extensive experience in the retail sector, encompassing department stores, specialty retail, and supermarkets.
Oded Shein’s previous role was with Shift Technologies Inc., where as CFO and chief administrative officer, he played a pivotal role in achieving extensive revenue increases during the company’s period of hypergrowth. Before his time at Shift Technologies, Mr. Shein held similar influential positions at The Fresh Market and Stage Stores Inc, demonstrating a proven track record of driving high growth and operational excellence across various companies. He is also a member of Conn’s Inc.’s board of directors and chair of the audit committee.

Oded Shein holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College. He currently resides in Charlotte, NC, with his wife and enjoys spending time with his two sons, running, traveling, and music, serving on the board of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra.
