Reap The Benefits Of Two Cups Of Water
Try this drinking tip before all meals.
Real quick, here’s a simple trick for weight management:
Drink two cups (16 ounces) of water before every meal.
No, this isn’t some gimmick or bro science — this is real science.
Drinking two cups of water before meals has been found in research studies to help improve satiety. In one study in particular, the individuals drank two cups of water before each of three daily meals and ended up eating less because of it.
Thing is, everyone knows drinking water is vitally important for your health and your performance in the gym, so you should be chugging plenty of it anyway. But if you want to tip the scales in your favor, this simple two-cups-before-meals strategy could help tremendously.
My general rule of thumb for water consumption is to drink about one gallon of water a day (120 ounces). That’s the guideline for men; women (because of their typically lower bodyweights) can probably get away with a little less – say, 90 ounces. On training days, I even recommend getting more than that – about a gallon and a half for men. Keep in mind, this includes the water you use to mix your supplements like Pre JYM, Post JYM and Pro JYM in.
Bottom line: Drink plenty of water! Drink it throughout the day, but also start chugging two cups before meals if you want to impact satiety!
