Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey Royal Caramel Cookie whey protein powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, honey, and whey protein powder.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. If the batter is too think, feel free to add a little bit of water, just not too much.
- Add in the chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips (if using) and mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out the mixture and roll it into balls using your hands.
- Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until they are firm.
- Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
