What product?
I never received the product, so I’m not sure why I’m being asked to review a product I didn’t get.

Fantastic!
I can finally eat without feeling miserable afterwards. I had my gallbladder out years ago and my digestive system was progressively getting worse. This product is a lifesaver.

The old version of the GNC Multi-Enzyme Formula product contained lactase and lactobacillus. Why has this new version of the Multi-Enzyme product not included these in the formulation?
A shopper on Jun 18, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yeah, I was searching for the GNC Multi-Enzyme Formula with probiotics, and can't find it.

I know it helped me digest milk products better. The product worked great for me...now that they don't sell it anymore, I'll have to experiment if it was the lactase or the probiotic was helping me, or just the enzymes.

By having it all in there, I didn't really care what was helping me...all I knew was that it helped me digest milk products.

Why did GNC discontinue the GNC multi-enzyme formula???????!?????
Can this be taken with a probiotic?
GLORIA A on May 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it can be taken with a probiotic. Keep in mind if you haven't started taking a probiotic before and taking this in conjunction with the probiotic - the probiotic may initially cause some intestinal distress until your body has gotten used to it after 4-5 days and then should settle down. This product does not cause the initial intestinal distress that most probiotics do when initially taking a probiotic, which increases "stomach digestion" and "regularity". This product works more with your body's small intestines in the absorption and digestion of fats, soluble fiber, carbs and so on and helps your small intestines work more efficiently. It aids in the relief of some of the symptons of IBS when initially digesting certain foods as a person ages or if they have had certain issues like gallbladder removal or pancrease issues. Digestive enzymes really helps the body obtain vital nutrients from food after they have left the stomach. So, to answer your question, yes you most certainly can take this with probiotics. However, I wouldn't take this in conjunction with a probiotic product that already has high amounts of digestive enzymes included with the probiotic, because it may make you feel a queasy or at worse some intestinal cramping. As always, read the label and follow the instructions and of course ask you health care person about this and any pescription drugs you might be taking. I myself take this product after every meal since having my gallbladder removed and it helps me considerably, but I also take soluble fiber and oxbile as well in order to have a normal digestive function with normal daily regularity - something doctors don't tell you about after you've had your gallbladder removed.
What source of GELATIN in this products ?!
A shopper on Apr 23, 2018
how many capsules can you take per day.... if you have 3 meals you take 6 capsules ?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: After suffering from post op gallbladder removal I was suffering from what was called IBS symptoms, but in fact was a normal occurrence for people that have gallbladder surgery and had to suppliment my eating with oxbile, soluble fiber, and digestive enzymes in order to "feel" and "function" like a normal person again without having to take expensive and unnecessary IBS pills that didn't work. I take 3 of these after every meal within 10 minutes of the meal or I will take several after "snacking" and haven't felt better in years. So, if you find that two after meals still leaves you feeling "out of sorts" you can easily try three.
It contains wheat , confused why to take for gluten when it contains gluten...?
Robin R on Jul 25, 2018
Can the contents be mixed in water or juice?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The capsules are very easy to swallow, so I have never needed to mix with water or juice.
does it have gluten?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it has wheat. For gluten digestive issues I would recommend CharcCaps, activated charcoal.
