Whipped coffee (also known as dalgona coffee or beaten coffee) originated in South Korea and has recently exploded in popularity. It’s traditionally made by whipping up equal parts of instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water until it’s fluffy like a mousse.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1. Pour instant coffee, sugar, vanilla extract and water into medium sized bowl.
2. Using an electric hand mixer, combine ingredients until mixture forms a fluffy, foamy consistency with stiff peaks.
3. In a shaker cup or blender, shake or blend unsweetened almond milk with 1 scoop of GNC Total Lean® Lean Shake™ 25 – French Vanilla until fully combined.
4. Pour protein shake into 4 oz. glass. Using a spoon or spatula, scoop whipped coffee mixture on top of protein shake. Take a pic before you enjoy!
